Born on March 27, 1944, in Gardiner, ME, Evelyn's journey through life was marked by her deep devotion to family, her vibrant spirit, and her tireless contributions to those around her.

Louis A. Ridgely, 94, of Bath, passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2026.
Born on October 6, 1931, Louis was the son of William B. Ridgely and Louise C. Ridgely. As Louis would say, he dedicated “26 years, 3 months and 3 days” of service to the United States Air Force before continuing his career with Coastal Economic Development. Later, he fulfilled a lifelong passion as owner of The Hobby Shoppe in Bath for 17 years.

Sonia, a daughter of Mary and Wesley Cray, sr. of Richmond and daughter-in-law of Gorham and Sharon Lilly of Dresden, passed away in the evening of January 13th in the loving, devoted arms of her husband of 28 years, Steve Lilly, who never left her side during her ordeal, as well as a few family and friends to support him as she left this world.

Lauraine Frances (Gurney, Christie) Mercier died January 7, 2026 after a long struggle with dementia. She was born in Gardiner on April 7, 1935 to Thomas J. and Mary (Brayley) Gurney. She attended Gardiner schools and worked as a stitcher for 27 years at HealthTex. She married Scott Christie, raising their family in Randolph. After their marriage ended, she married Robert Mercier and moved to Madison, where they spent 21 happy years.

Our beautiful Tammy passed away peacefully at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, on January 6, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 53 and young at heart. Born in Brunswick, August 30, 1972, to Donald Pelletier and Donna (Harding) Hurley. She grew up in Richmond and graduated from Richmond High School and worked at Barry Koeler’s Law Office for a brief time as a legal assistant, and then at the Brunswick Police Department as assistant to the Chief of Police for 25 years, leaving after her illness became too much.
