
Terry Lee Sirois (Gott), age 68, died unexpectedly at her home in Bowdoin, Maine, on July 23, 2025. She was born in Brunswick on July 25, 1956, to Nancy Trask and Victor Lee Gott. Terry lived in Arizona with her aunt and uncle during her preschool years before returning to Maine, where she later lived in Athens. She attended Brunswick High School for a few years before graduating from Mt. Ararat High School.

John Patrick Hurley Jr., 60, of Richmond, ME and Venice, FL, lost his short fight with pancreatic cancer on April 20, 2025. He was born on September 20th, 1964 to John Hurley Sr. and Marion (Moody) Hurley. John graduated from Richmond High School in 1982 and worked at Bath Iron Works from 1987 to 2002 before starting his own business, Hurley Yard Works. He was an avid hunter and champion clay pigeon shooter, he enjoyed being outdoors, and taught many years of hunter safety. He was a member of the Richmond Sportsman's Club, Masonic Village Lodge #26, Gardiner Elks and Eagles Clubs and a regular performer at Richmond Players shows.
Bette Jean Chapman (Shields), 66, of Richmond, Maine, passed away unexpectedly in her home on April 20th, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Bette will always be remembered for her loud and boisterous personality and her complete selflessness to her family and friends.

Mark Robert Allen passed away peacefully at home from natural causes on April 14, 2025. He was born on May 20, 1982 in Waterville, Maine. He is the son of Ann and Victor Edgecomb and Gary and Michelle Allen. Mark graduated from Lincoln Academy in 2000. Mark attended CMVTI in Auburn training as a machinist. Mark joined the Maine National Guard and then served in the US Army, stationed in Barstow, California. Mark continued his machinist work and worked for the State of Maine DOT and Bath Iron Works.

Blake Jarrod Sandelin of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2025 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Blake was born October 15, 1981 to Elsie (Kamps) and Hugo Sandelin. Blake's love of sports and the Maine outdoors carried on from childhood until his last days, where he was often found on the water or in the woods.

West Gardiner- William E. Chapman, known affectionately as Bill, passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 70 at his home in West Gardiner, surrounded by family.
Bowdoin- Doris Wheeler Gagne left us to be with Jesus on January 5th, 2025, at the age of 82 after a courageous 81-year battle with Juvenile Diabetes. Doris was loved by all who knew her for her gentle manner and caring heart. She was an avid letter writer with pen pals around the world. Her memory for people and dates was legendary, and she faithfully sent birthday cards to friends and family. She was also passionate about her family's genealogy. She was an avid reader, and loved to hear others' life stories.
