Richmond- Carol Lynn Green Smith passed away January 19, 2025 after a long illness.
She was born on December 26, 1953, to Jere and Priscilla Green.
She graduated from Presque High School class of 1972. Following graduation, she attended University of Maine Farmington and graduated class of 1976 with a degree in education. Soon after graduation, she decided to be adventurous by going to Hawaii and Alaska to teach special education before settling in central Maine where she taught for many years.
She married Denny in 1994 and the next year their twins Adam and Stacey were born. They settled in Richmond, where after retirement, she worked at the library for 15 years as she loved books, it was the perfect job for her.
Carol is survived by her husband Denny, two children Adam and Stacey, 2 brothers Bill and wife Ruth, David Green and partner Page, sister Cathy and Steve Snow, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by sister Sherill, Michael, Jere and Priscilla Green and newborn David Smith.
