
Kathryn "Kathy" Lee Wentworth, 60, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Richmond, Maine on May 11th 2025. Born on October 29th 1964 in Brunswick, Maine Kathy worked most of her life as a housekeeper and worked seasonally at L.L Bean.
Kathy’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and she looked forward to the many get togethers her family would have. Her homemade dinner rolls and desserts were legendary, and were always requested at family functions. Her greatest accomplishments in life, her children and grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. Kathy had a knack for remembering every birthday, anniversary, and important dates in her loved one’s lives. She would always send a card, or show up with a hug and a gift in hand.
Kathy also enjoyed fishing with her son Wesley, camping, music, baking, and crocheting. She loved walking around barefoot with a bottomless cup of coffee in her hand and the sun in her face.
She is survived by her children, Charles Snow (wife Nicole), Amy Snow, Cynthia Beaule (Husband Nick), Wesley Lucas and eight grandchildren. Her mother Winifred Nadeau, step father Charles Nadeau, siblings Daniel Wentworth, Eric Wentworth (wife Kelly), and Melissa Bond (husband John). Kathy is predeceased by her father Kermit Wentworth, brother Keith Wentworth, step brother David Britton, and step father Wallace Britton.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on June 7th at the Durham Amvets Hall from 11-3. Refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a GoFundMe page in Kathy’s honor to help with her end-of-life expenses, and celebration of life.
