Bowdoinham- Sandra D. Keefe, 82, passed away peacefully at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick.
Sandra was born on December 19, 1942, in Rockland, the daughter of William and Ruth (Rogers) Rytky. She grew up in Rockland, and graduated from Rockland High School, where she met her husband, William Keefe. The two married on October 20, 1959 and shared 66 wonderful years together.
For 28 years, Sandra worked for the United States Postal Service in Richmond, ME. Beyond her work, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She loved working on her daily crossword puzzles, sewing and quilting, and spoiling her beloved pets.
Sandra was predecesed by her parents, William and Ruth; and her brothers, William Rytky Jr. and Dennis Rytky.
She is survived by her loving husband, William; her children, son Robert and wife Susan of Hope Valley, Rhode Island, daughter Kimberly and husband Troy Kendrick of Richmond, Maine, and her son Christopher of Bowdoinham, Maine; her grandchildren Kyle & Natalie Keefe and Nathan & Caitlin Kendrick; her siblings, brother Thomas Rytky, sisters Florence (Fred) Clough, Mary (Ron) Howell, and Jane Benner; many cherished nieces and nephews; and her loving dog, Neka.
A visitation will be held at Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant Street, Richmond, Maine on Friday October 3rd from 10:00- 12:00. A graveside burial will immediately follow at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery on Alexander Reed Road in Richmond.
