In Loving Memory of Jennifer Taylor
June 7, 1946 – September 21, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jennifer Taylor, who passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025 at the age of 79.
Born on June 7, 1946 in Gardiner, ME, she was the daughter of the late George and Alberta White. Jen was a beloved mother, grandmother, gigi and friend. She adored her family and cherished visits with her son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends who she considered family. She was an avid animal lover, always having at least one dog or cat as a pet and loved companion.
Jen moved to Massachusetts with her son Doug more than 50 years ago. It was in Mass that she joined the VFW Auxiliary in 1976. Being a part of the VFW ignited her passion for helping people, especially veterans. She spent her long tenure with the VFW moving through all the Chairs of the Auxiliary, Distract and ultimately was able to serve as State President from 2017-2018. Being a member of the VFW was one of the most important parts of Jen’s life and she will greatly be missed by all the people she helped and touched along the way.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Douglas Kalloch and girlfriend Karen Rowe, of Randolph; her four grandchildren, Nicole Kalloch of Gardner, MA, Samantha Roman and husband Alfredo Roman Jr. of Gardiner, Douglas Kalloch Jr. of Fort Fairfield, and Kenneth Kalloch of Augusta; as well as her seven great grandchildren and many other family and friends, all of whom she loved dearly and was incredibly proud of.
Jen will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A private service and burial will be held for close family on October 13th. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, further information to follow.
