Merle L. French, 87, of Somerville, Maine, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Richmond, Maine.

Born on April 30, 1938, to Eunice French Hill, Merle was a lifelong Mainer whose strength, generosity, and deep devotion to family and community touched everyone who knew him.
