Randolph- Rachel E. Shea died at home with family by her side on Sept. 30, 2023.

She was born in Gardiner, ME, the daughter of Josephine (Dennis) Jewett and Adelbert Dennis.

She was a 1948 graduate of Gardiner High School and also the Kennebec School of Commerce.  In 1951 she married William A. Shea and together they raised three children.

She is predeceased by her parents, a brother Carl Dennis, a sister Shirley Foster, and also by her husband William H. Shea, a son Michael D. Shea, and a grandson Patrick W. Shea, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Shea Stover and husband Ross, her son Patrick W. Shea, Sr. and wife Sharlene, daughter-in-law Lisa Shea, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will be a graveside service for Rachel on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 2pm at the Central Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Rd. in Augusta.
