Gardiner - Louise Clement St. Hilaire Brown, 93, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2023.

Louise was born in Augusta on July 27, 1930 to Clementine and Omer St. Hilaire. She was very proud of her French Canadian Heritage. Louise had a great sense of humor, loved people and gatherings, and expressed gratitude right to the end. 

Louise was predeceased by her parents, granddaughter Melanie, and daughter- in- law Doreen. She was the last surviving child of Omer and Clementine's 14 children. 

Louise married Paul (Porkie) Brown on April 29th, 1949 and they recently celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary. Together they raised 5 children. She is survived by her husband and children Charlene (Max) Peasley, Gayle (Ted) Hendsbee, Debbie (Bob) McKee, Bruce (Christine) Brown, and Ted Brown. 

Grandchildren: Amy, Carrie, Scott, Ryan, Julie, Jeff, Katie, Lisa, Tanya. 

Great Grandchildren: Gabrielle, Ariana, Maria, Reece, Andrew, Cameron, Matthew, Sidney, Piper, Hunter, Brooke, Ryan, Keegan, Brady, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Madison, Mackenzie, Taylor, Charlotte, Baylee, Michael, Myles, Markus, Chloe, and Tatum. 

A private graveside service will be held and attended by immediate family members.
