Michaleen Rose Toothaker
Monmouth- Michaleen Rose Toothaker (known to her friends as Mikki) of Monmouth passed away peacefully at age 82 on February 14, 2024 at Marshwood Center in Lewiston after an extended battle with Dementia.
Mikki was born in Millinocket January 21, 1942. Daughter of Newell Grant Myshrall and Marcia Dorothy Bartlett Myshrall. She married Roland Paquet had three children Louie, Julie and Jamie. After her children were grown she married Fred Toothaker in 1981 whom she was with until Freds Death in April 2023.
Mikki had many occupations during her life: hairdresser in Topsham while raising her children; seamstress making wedding gowns and window treatments; L.L. Bean; working beside her husband, Fred on his lobster boat in Cundy's Harbor; and waitressing.
Among her many hobbies Mikki enjoyed designing and making wedding dresses, cake decorating, reading, snowmobiling with
Fred and friends, fishing and hunting with her sons Louie, Jamie, and son-in-law George Pooters.
Mikki is preceded in death by parents Newell and Marcia Myshrall, husband Fred Toothaker, brothers William and George Myshrall and grand-daughter Meghan Passey.
She is survived by children Louie and Risa Paquet, Julie and Steve Passey, Jamie and Kathryn Paquet; step-daughter Kelley and Brad Williams; six grandchildren and thirteen great-granchildren; sister-in-Law Carolyn Neidt; and four neices and nephews plus seventeen great nieces and nephews.
Mom will be missed by many who have been blessed to have her in their lives. We will miss her most during the Christmas Holiday. She loved cooking family dinners, riding around looking at lights,
and gift shopping with family.
She can now rest with all who left before her.
The family is respecting Mikki's request for “No Funeral Service". She is being Cremated at Kincer Funeral Home in Richmond. Family will put Mom to rest in the Spring.
