Richmond- Virginia A. Cousens, 67, of Richmond, passed away on May 04, 2021 at her home.

She was born in Portland on June 04, 1953, the daughter of Maude E. Tracy. 

Virginia was a loving mother who was a homemaker that raised three children on her own.  She loved cooking, taking drives to the White Mountains in New Hampshire, coloring with the grandchildren, and doing “search & find” puzzles.  She especially loved enjoying time with her children, grand kids, and friends.

Virginia was predeceased by her mother, brother Herbert L. Cousens, and sister Marcia L. Cousens.

She is survived by her children Joshua M. Cousens of Old Orchard Beach, Holly A. Cousens of Richmond, and William A. Cousens of Richmond, brothers Richard McGowan of Richmond, James McGowan of Jefferson, Johnny Manchester of Hull, MA, and Joseph McGowan of Augusta, sister Regina O’Riley of Revere, MA, grandchildren Evan M. Cousens of Old Orchard Beach, Autum Mae Cousens and Carter A. Cousens of Richmond, Thomas Blake and Nathan Grant of Conway, NH, as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Those who have been touched by her love and kindness know that she was a gift………. she will be unconditionally loved and never forgotten.

There will be a Celebration of Virginia’s life on June 04, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at the Waterfront Park in Richmond.  All are Welcome.
