Richmond-Scott Richard Merriam 79, died Sunday August 23, 2020 at Maine Medical Center.
 He was born on April 28, 1941 in Camden ME to Fred Merriam and Madelyn Scott Merriam.
Scott attended Belfast High School. Later on  he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served 9 years.
He worked for Harry C. Crooker for over 40 years.
Scott enjoyed spending time outdoors as well as with his family and friends. He loved taking rides to his camp with his wife Nancy. He also enjoyed doing auto body and paving.
Scott is survived  by his wife Nancy of Richmond, children, Stacey "Casey" Staley of Bushnell, Florida, Sherry Moody and her husband  Danny of Dresden, Kimberly  Campbell and her husband Jamie of Bangor, Josee Dumas and her husband Bill of Whitefield, Timothy Adams and wife Irene of Richmond,  Penny Pelletier and Companion Jody Mills of Wiscasset, Erika Thibeault and Companion  Greg Thornton of Whitefield and Terry Adam's of Lisbon, sisters Sandra Boguen of Belfast, Sheila Chandler of Swansville, Sharon Paul and her husband  Walter  of Gorham, 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren several nephews, neices and cousins.
Scott was predeceased by his parents, brother in laws Red Boguen of Belfast and Bruce Chandler  of Swansville and son in law Bruce Staley of bushnell Fl.

A celebration of Life will take place on Friday, August 28th at 11am at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at a later date.
