BOWDOIN – Bruce Leach Sr., 81, of Bowdoin passed away on January 8, 2019. He was born in Camden, ME on July 26, 1937, the son of Ashley and Eva (Closson) Leach.

Bruce served as a United States Marine from 1956 to 1959. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in Searsmont, and also woodworking.

Bruce is predeceased by his parents; sisters, Claribel Thomas, Elizabeth Ames, Jeannette Anderson, and Avis Achorn; and brothers, Edwin Leach, and Melvin Leach.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judy (Jepson) Leach; his son, Bruce Leach Jr. of Westbrook; his sister, Carol Gilbert of Waterford; and several nieces and nephews.
