Harry Van Buren Jr.
West Bath-Harry E. VanBuren JR., 75, died peacefully June 27, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones after a long bout with illness.
Harry was a lifetime member of Maine and the son of Gertrude M. Leavitt and Harry E. Van Buren SR.
Harry was a devout Christian. He enjoyed singing Karaoke and playing his guitars with his many friends. He also was an avid outdoorsman, also enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a friendly and loving man who never met a stranger.
Harry was a Veteran of the Army National Guard and worked for the Bath School District for more than 20 years.
Harry was predeceased by a brother George. He was also predeceased by a brother by heart, Leon (Sonny) Doyle. Harry was a widower from the love of his life Sandra Stevens. He is survived by 5 children, 5 step children, and a sister Rose of California. His Legacy will live on in his multitude of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at the East Brunswick Baptist Church on Saturday, July 7th at 9 AM with a gathering to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association in his name.
