WOOLWICH - Clayton G. Mitchell, 91, of Woolwich, ME died on May 25th,
2018 at his home in Woolwich.

He was born September 19, 1926 the son of Caleb R. and Helen G. Mitchell
of Bowdoinham.

He was a member of Village Lodge Masons in Bowdoinham for 70 years.

He liked woodworking, making furniture, and metal fabrication. He
greatly enjoyed his family and grand kids.

After serving in the Navy and graduating from the University of Maine at
Orono he pursued a career as an engineer at the Portsmouth Naval
Shipyard for 32 years.

Clayton was predeceased by his wife Hazel B. Mitchell.

He was survived by his sons, Loy B. Mitchell and wife Kathleen; Rod B.
Mitchell and wife Rosemary; four grandchildren, and three great
grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, June 14th at 6pm at
the funeral home with masonic services being presented by Village Lodge,
Bowdoinham.
