Dresden – Cheryl L. Rhoten, 52 of Dresden passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2017. She was born in Gardiner, Me on August 11, 1964 a daughter of Robert and Linda (Newton) Berry.
After graduating high school and attending college Cheryl worked as a substitute teacher and in later years became a stay-at-home mom and homemaker.
Cheryl enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She also loved reading and crocheting and taking trips to Foxwoods Casino.
Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband Roger Rhoten, her daughter Courtney,  mother Linda Newton, and her in-laws Elmer and Gloria Rhoten. She also leaves behind her sisters Bethany Fossett, Kelly Clark, Tammy Hodgkins, her brothers Scott and Thomas Newton as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was predeceased by her father, Robert Berry, step-father Sonny Newton and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
