Dennis Alan Wagurak, age 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22,2016 at Richmond Eldercare in Richmond, Maine. Dennis was born February 2, 1947, in Gardiner, Maine to Harry Wagurak and Phyllis ( Whitham) Wagurak. Dennis received his education in Pennsylvania. Dennis enlisted in the Navy where he proudly served his country for 23 years. During this time Dennis met his wife. Together they had twin boys, then later divorced. Once Dennis retired from the service he moved to Maine. Dennis worked many jobs of interest to keep busy. Dennis enjoyed wood working, fishing and hunting. Dennis also loved daily visits from his granddaughter Natalie and the color green.  Dennis was a lifetime member of American Legion Post #132 of Richmond, he was also a member of the Masons. Dennis is survived by son Ivan and his wife Jill and their daughters, Natalie of Richmond and Breaunna of Virginia, son Josef and his wife Sarah and their daughter Catherine of Yelm, WA., one sister Rachel Zollinger and her husband Richard and their three children of Pennsylvania; many cousins as well as his loving family of caregivers at Richmond Eldercare. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 4pm at Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant Street, Richmond.
