Richmond-Edward S. Crosby, 89, of Center St., died on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home with his family and friends by his side.He was born on October 1, 1927 in Albion the son of Rethel and Orpha Barton Crosby.Ed loved the outdoors, he was an Avid hunter and fisherman and a teacher of both, to his son, daughter, grandsons and great grandsons.Ed was a lifetime member of the American Legion, Richmond Sportsman's, a member of the Bowdoinham Masonic Lodge and a Shriner, receiving outstanding Shriners award in 2013.  He was a honored Richmond Citizen of the year 2004.  Of all the organizations and things he did, he mostly enjoyed being a husband, dad, Grampy and great Grampy.He is survived by his wife of 65 years Phyllis, son Ed Jr., daughter Diane, grandson's Ed III, Ryan and wife Marsha, two great grandson's Shane and Lucas and sister Betty Collar.The family would like to express a special thanks to Odis and Barbara Cottrell (our Angels), Dr. Linda Hermans, the staff at Togus Springs and Patti Mason of Gardiner Health Reach Hospice.Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, November 3rd at 10am with a funeral service to start at 11am at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the the: Shriners Burn Center 51 Blossom St. Boston, Ma 02114 or Togus Spring Hospice building 207 810 Eastern Ave  Augusta, Me 04330.Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home 130 Pleasant St. Richmond, Me 04357
