Barbara Joyce Lester Pritchard Smith was born on January 30, 1934, passed away peacefully with all her children by her side on April 7, 2016.

Barbara will be remembered for her feistiness, and her love of family. She loved dancing, cooking but mostly spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Ascheman of Bath, son Ed Pritchard and his wife Linda of West Gardiner, daughter Stacey Chenevert and her husband Paul of Brunswick and daughter Tara Russell and her husband Robbie of Dresden. She also leaves her beautiful grandchildren that she loved with all of her heart, Luke and Cliff Ascheman, Edwin Pritchard, Lawrence, Abigail, Amber Heffron, Nicholas and Matt Baudanza, Elizabeth and Nathan Chenevert. She also leaves three great grandchildren Zachary and Bentley Heffron, Aislyn Ascheman and was expecting two more great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be at held at Joshua’s Restaurant in Brunswick on May 21^st from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, appetizers will be provided.
