Richmond-Linda Ann (Thomson) Carver, 72, of Apple Valley Dr., died on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at her residence, with her family by her side. She was born on March 21, 1943 in Gardiner the daughter of James and Isabel (Lawrence) Thomson. Linda was a member of the Richmond Fireman's Auxiliary, Richmond Booster Club, past member of the Eastern Star in Gardiner and an avid supporter of the past Richmond Masonic lodge, cooking many suppers for the members.

She enjoyed attending nearly all of her children and grand-children's sporting events, vacationing and spending time in Florida with her beloved husband.  Linda also enjoyed , reading, cooking, dancing, walking, and spending time in their three cabins, in the North Maine woods.

Linda worked briefly for Richmond Utilities District and 25 years as a business manager for the Richmond Superintendent of Schools.

She was predeceased by her sister Donna Lawrence.  Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years Leighton Carver of Richmond, children Michael Carver and wife Kathy of Moscow, Bruce Carver and wife Laurie of Richmond, Cathy (Carver) Gustafson and partner Michael Anderson of Bowdoinham, grandchildren Jennifer Bayles of Richmond, Brittni Carver of Richmond, Tasha (Carver) Pullen and husband Cole of Bowdoinham, Bruce Carver, Jr of Richmond, Benjamin Carver of Richmond, Jason Gustafson of Bowdoinham, great grandchildren Mason Pullen of Bowdoinham, Aubrey Pullen of Bowdoinham, brothers Laurence Thomson and wife Pauline of Beverly Hills, Florida, Richard Smith of Jefferson, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will take place on Friday, March 25th from 2-4pm with a service to follow at the funeral home.  Burial will take place this spring.
