WOOLWICH — Edward Henry Gallant, 95 years old, born October 9, 1920 died March 3, 2016.

A World War II veteran served as a Marine in the South Pacific. Retired from BIW after 50 years. Long time Morgan horse enthusiast.

Married to Marguerite (Rissy) Gallant for 58 years. Survived by son Michael E. Gallant, grandson James M. Gallant, granddaughter Lindsey L. Gallant and great grandson Oscar J. Gallant.

He will be missed by all that knew him. May he rest in peace!
