Boston, Massachusetts-Ronald J. Lord, 24, of Richmond, died unexpectedly on Wednesday October 14, 2015.

He was born on April 26, 1991 in Augusta the son of Mary Collins and Eric Lord.

RJ enjoyed hanging out with his friends, relaxing, listening to music, watching the history channel, hiking, going to the mountains and kayaking.  He also enjoyed doing handyman work for family and friends.  RJ always stood up for the underdog.  Family and friends said he had bright eyes, a big smile and great personality.  

RJ was predeceased by grandmother Betty L. Lord. He is survived by his mother Mary Collins of Richmond and her good friend Frank Reed of Dresden, father Eric Lord and wife Amber of Gardiner, sister Alexis Lord of Litchfield, step sister Tatiana Lord of Gardiner, RJ's girlfriend Virginia Marston of Monmouth, grandparents Roland Lord of Chelsea, Ron Pinkham of Richmond, Louise Huntington of Richmond, uncles Dave Pinkham and wife Rebecca of Bath, Ron Saindon and wife Karen of Lisbon Falls, David Lord and wife Carol of New Hampshire, Steve Lord and wife Cheryl of Bowdoinham, Ernie Saindon and wife Melanie of Bath,  aunt Lynn Cheney and husband Ralph of Richmond, cousins Joshua, Cameron, several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to memorial visitation on Wednesday, October 21st from 11 till noon with a service commencing at noon at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at a later date.  A gathering will follow the service at the Richmond Grange Alexander Reed Rd.
