Portland---Jason E. Jewett, 40 passed away on September 25, 2015 at Maine Medical Center after a life long illness of addiction. He was born September 2, 1975 in Bath Maine. He attended schools in Brunswick, Lewiston, Bath and the Hinkley Boys School.
Jason was a loving Son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who would do his best to do anything for anyone in need. He was a long time member of the Sons Of The American Legion, Emerson and Lane Squadron 132, Richmond Maine. He had a passion for all sports, especially his New England teams, except for football, where he never gave up on his Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and love of the game with all of those around him. He had most recently discovered golf, and played when he was able.
Jason was predeceased by his Father Bernard Hart Sr., His brother Bernard Hart Jr. and his wife Brenda, His sister Merlene Hart, His sister Kathlyn Jewett, and his cousin Tina Dall.
He leaves behind His mother Annie Hart of Richmond, His Fiancé Heather Emerson-Mains and her children, Kyleigh Mains and Chelsea Emerson-Reed, His sister Stella Trahan and her Husband Jason, His brother Michael Jewett and his fiancée Pam Hatt, His brother Jonathan Jewett and his wife Maria, His sister Paula Crochere and her husband Norman, His brother John L. Hart and wife Ann, his sister Rosa Brawn. And many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM Saturday October 17th at Kincer Funeral Home in Richmond Maine with gathering to celebrate his life directly following at the Enterprise Grange on Alexander Reed Road in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Go Fund Me page set up to help the family defray the costs @ www.gofundme.com/b34yw4uk,  to the Hinkley Boys School in his name or to a local addiction program of their choice in his name.
