Richmond-Paul L. Thurlow, 81, of Sled St. died unexpectedly on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Mid Coast Hospital, Brunswick. 
He was born on May 3, 1934 in Poland the son of Irvin and Ida Thurlow.

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He also worked for at AMHI in Augusta for over 30 years.  He enjoyed watching Fox News, gardening, walks, horse-pulls and especially time spent with his grandkids watching them play sports.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife Caroline, daughter Carol, several brothers and sisters.  Paul is survived by his daughter Susan Thurlow, granddaughter  Kalah Patterson, grandson Jason Patterson jr., all of Richmond, several nieces and nephews.  

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, August 21st from 11 am to Noon with a service to follow at the funeral home.   Burial will take place in the Richmond Cemetery with military honors.
