RICHMOND – Derek Conrad Less, 27, of Richmond died unexpectedly on Feb. 27, 2015 in Brockton, Mass.

He was born in Brunswick on July 2, 1987 to Elena Carter and Robert Less. 

Derek enjoyed outdoor activities and art. He served in the Army from 2005-2009 and was a combat Veteran of Iraq. 

He is survived by his 5 year old daughter, Madison Less, of Richmond; his parents, Elena Carter and husband Mark of Richmond, Bob Less of Waterville; brother, Rob Less of Richmond, sisters, Lorisa Less of Richmond, and Marlena Carter of Richmond, step-brother, Nathan Carter of Chico, Calif.; grandparents, Lee and Connie Smith of Richmond, and Barbara Srock of Richmond; four nieces, a very close friend, Wilton Neptune, and lots of other family.  

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5th, from 10-12 p.m. at Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St, Richmond. A service will follow at 12:30 p.m.
