Hazel M. Higgins

Richmond-Hazel M. Higgins, 88, of Hathorn Street died on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Richmond Eldercare.

She was born on December 22, 1925 in Richmond the daughter of Grover and Mildred Pushard.

Hazel was a member of many organizations, including; St. Ambrose Church, VFW778 Bath charter member, Trustee Maple Grove Cemetery, Lions Club Richmond and Dresden Historical Society.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, writing letters, plants and playing bingo.

Hazel was predeceased by her husband Leslie Higgins, sister Thelma Russell and brother Earl Pushard .  She is survived by her son Frank Higgins, brother Robert Pushard of Dresden, brother in-law Bill Russell of Bath, sister in-law Frances Bixby, special cousin Pearl Strout and several cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 14^th at 6:30pm at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Kimball St. Richmond, Me 04357.  Burial will take place on Thursday, May 15^th at 10am at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Dresden.
