Richmond-Beth M. Anan, 48, of Beech St. passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at her home.

She was born in Washington, D.C. on June 7, 1965 the daughter of Harry and Kay Pierce.  Beth graduated from Richmond High School and later attended Katherine Gibbs College in Boston.

Beth worked for many years for Port City Auto Auctions in Richmond.

She enjoyed geocaching, shopping, her dog Sophie and particularly time spent with her granddaughter Layla.

Beth is survived by her parents, children Michael Anan and wife Amanda of Texas, Marissa Collins and husband Hunter of Richmond, Kalena Anan of Richmond, Nicholas Anan of Richmond  granddaughter Layla Collins of Richmond, sisters Pam Reagan and husband Tim of MD, Jennifer Sheffler and husband Tony of MD, Robert Pierce of Richmond, Andrew Pierce and wife Patricia of Bowdoin, several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, February 13th at 4pm at the Dresden Richmond UnitedMethodist Church, Pleasant St.Richmond.
