Alexander "Max" M. Pinkham
Richmond- Alexander M. Pinkham, 80, of the Alexander Reed Rd. passed away unexpectedly January 15, 2014 at Togus.
He was born in Columbia, Me on 5/29/1933 the son of Elden and Edith Pinkham.Max proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Togus for many years as a nurses Aide.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and "bettin the ponies". Max was a longtime member of the Richmond American Legion.Max was predeceased by his parents, brothers Nicholas, Norris, Clint, Buddy Pinkham, sisters Audrey Matthews and Erma Flaherty, He is survived by his wife of 59 years Joyce Pinkham of Richmond, son Eldon Pinkham and wife Cheryl of Bowdoinham, sister Holly Corson of Yarmouth, grandchildren Eldon II and wife Christina, Greg and wife Beth, Nichole, Michelle, Angela, Great grandchildren Trevor, Zoe, Luke, Jade and nieces and nephews.Burial will be in the spring at Maine Veterans Cemetery.In Max's memory donations may be made to the Golden Oldies Richmond Senior Center 314 Front St. Richmond, Me 04357.
