Richard E. Green Jr
DRESDEN — Richard E. Green Jr., 53, of Dresden, formerly of Freeport, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 7, 2014. Richard was born at Parkview Hospital on Jan. 25, 1960, to Myrtle and Richard E. Green Sr.Richard attended Freeport schools where he enjoyed sports, music, art and spending time with his friends. Richard began art at a young age and grew to be a very talented artist. He was very well known for his airbrush paintings
. He was always looking for something new to sketch, paint or a new horror movie to watch. Anyone who knew Richard knew that he loved to rock out to Ozzy Osbourne, one of his favorite songs was “See you on the other side.”Richard worked at Eastland Shoe and L.L. Bean, he also did airbrush work for many of his friends. In recent days Richard enjoyed spending time with his four dogs and the opportunity to talk with friends and family.Richard was predeceased by his fatherRichard E. Green Sr. on Aug. 23, 1985.He is survived by his wife Karen, his mother MyrtleGreen, two brothers, Gary and Rick A. Green, one daughter, Kayli Green, four sons, Joshua, Logan, Nicholas and Gadge Green, one granddaughter Abby, as well as many nieces and nephews.Services for Richard will be announced at a later date. Richard will be laid to rest beside his father at Webster Road Cemetery in Freeport in the spring.
