Augusta-Louis P. Groleau, 63, died on June 3, 2013 at Maine General Medical Center, Augusta.

He was born on May 7, 1950 in Augusta the son of Emanuel and Gilberthe (Alberte) Groleau.

He was a member of Al’s and Double R’s Bowling Team. He enjoyed watching T.V. and visiting with friends.

Louis worked part time for the Cotton Mill in Augusta. Also, as a cab driver for Al’s Taxi from 1970 where he proceeded to own his own taxi, until retiring in 2002.

He was predeceased by his parents Gilberthe (Alberte) Groleau and Emanuel Groleau, brother Albert Groleau and good friend Raymond Butler.

Louis is survived by his nieces Michelle, Theresa and April. Also, several other great nieces, nephews, his extended family at Al’s Taxi, good friend Don Masse and caregiver Joanne Flannery.

There will be a small gathering for family and friends at a later date.
