Richmond – Bernard J. ‘Bud’ Passmore, 83, died in his home December 1st, 2013 after a long illness.

Bernard was born on January 12, 1930 in Gardiner, a son of Geneva and Lawrence Passmore.

He graduated from Portland High School in 1947. He served in the Navy for three years and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a master electrician after many years with the I.B.E.W., Local #567. He was a hard worker and took great pride in his home and family.

Bernard was predeceased by his parents and sisters Maxine Rickett and Sally Campbell. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Joanne (Carlton) Passmore; sons Gary and his wife Diana, Jon and his wife Linda, and daughter Deborah Estabrook. He also left behind sisters Nataleen Patterson and Lorraine Dyer, brother Roger, many nieces and nephews, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

There will be no memorial services.
