Bangor-Thaddeus D. Ross, 57, passed away quietly at Eastern Maine Medical Center on September 3, 2013 with his loved ones at his side.

Thad was born on April 18, 1956 in Dallas, Tx to Olie W. and Laura Anna Ross.

He was predeceased by his father and mother, sisters Alice M. Ross-Lane, Sandra A. Lane and brother Daniel T. Ross.

Thad will be greatly missed by his daughters Jennifer L. Ross of Augusta, Michelle A. Ross of Deer Isle, Danielle M. Ross of Augusta, sisters Nancy L Dow of Winthrop, Lorelei G. Erskine of Liberty, Martha G. Peterson of Provo, UT, Rebecca M. Edwards of West Jordan, Utah, Hattie J. Fletcher of West Gardiner, former wife and best friend Wallene A. Ross of Augusta, beloved aunt Grace Ross-Campbell of Readfield, Uncle Almon Parent of Texas, many nieces and nephews from Maine to Arizona.

Thad loved spending time with his daughters and family, going to the beach, camping and riding the four-wheeling. He loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle alone or with his many nephews. One of his favorite things to do was to just sit outside at night a gaze at the stars, feeling contentment in the love of his family. Thad loved traveling and learning about all the states in lived in and rode through. He enjoyed have a good time and always had a funny story to tell that kept all around him laughing.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, September 9th at 4PM at the Winthrop American Legion, Bowdoin Street, Winthrop.
