Sandra “Sandy” L. Linton Plante

Center Ossipee, New Hampshire-Sandra L. Plante, 68, formerly of Gardiner and Richmond, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 30, 2011 at her residence.

She was born on May 23, 1943 in Gardiner the daughter of Blaine and Laura Linton and attended Gardiner Schools.

Sandy was a member of the Sons and Daughters of the American Legion in New Hampshire. She enjoyed crafts, upholstery and particularly sewing.

Sandy worked at Hallowell Shoe in Hallowell and Etonic Shoe in Richmond as a trainer and stitcher.

She was predeceased by her parents. Sandy is survived by her son Mark Hurley and his wife Tricia of Bowdoinham, daughter Laurilee Hurley of New Market, New Hampshire, sisters Glenda Fletcher and her husband Ronald of Manchester, Gail Roberts of Farmingdale, grand children Gregory, Ashley, Tyler, Shayne, Megan, Daniel, one great grandchild Caeden, 8 nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 7th from 12 to 1pm with a funeral commencing at 1pm at Kincer Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the spring.

In Sandy’s memory donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
