Robert L. Stevenson III
Richmond-Robert L. Stevenson III, 59, of the Langdon Rd., passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at his home with his family by his side.
Bob (Robby) was born on April 12, 1952 the son of Robert L. Stevenson and Sandy (Lent) Stevenson in Chicago, Illinois and attended local schools.
Bob (Robby) proudly served his country in the United States Navy retiring in 1992 as a Master Chief after 23 years. Bob (Robby) later worked for over 17 years at Bath Iron Works as an instructor.
He was a longtime member of Village Lodge #26 in Bowdoinham, serving for many years as the secretary.
Bob (Robby) enjoyed reading, fishing and traveling but most of all he loved his wife Pat very much.
Bob (Robby) was predeceased by his parents and a brother in-law Nick Esposito. He is survived by his wife Patricia Stevenson of Richmond, daughters Jennifer (Stevenson) Hutchings and her husband Shane of Richmond, Sascha Stevenson of San Diego, California, grandchildren Finley Hutchings and Sage Murray all of whom he loved dearly. He has five 5 siblings, Linda Esposito of Brookfield, IL, William Stevenson of Summit,IL, Sandy Wloszek and her husband Rich of Glen Ellyn, IL, Kathie Niday of Park Falls, WI., Casey Stevenson and his wife Nanette of Tinley Park, IL., Robby is also leaving behind many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, December 19th from 4 to 7pm at Kincer Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, December 20th at 10am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond. A gathering will take place following the burial at the Village Masonic Lodge in Bowdoinham.
