Wayne Anair
Richmond-Wayne A. Anair, 69, of Lincoln St. passed away after a long illness on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the VA Medical Center, Togus.
He was born in Wilder, Vermont on August 2, 1941 the son of Leonard and Geraldine Anair.
Wayne served his country in the United States Army while being stationed in Germany. He later worked for Health Tex in Brunswick for 20 years, and retired from BIW in 2004.
Wayne enjoyed spending time at Bob’s Auto, Friday night horse shoes with good friends like Dick Hurley, Tuesday night Texas Holdem, NASCAR, and traveling to many warm tropical areas with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Lubow Rogochoff Anair, son’s Robert Anair and wife Tracie, Richard Anair and wife Melanie all of Richmond, sisters Linda Anair, Mary Hart and husband Philip both of Richmond, Jane Moorehead and husband Carl of NH, brothers Ronald Anair and companion Priscilla of Monmouth, Charles Anair and wife Sandra of Litchfield, grandchildren Jessica, Kelsea, Logan and Destiny Anair of Richmond.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, brothers Barry Anair, L. Bob Anair and a sister Beverly Curtis.
Per his request there will be no services. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
