Shirley Jean Yeaton
Richmond-Shirley J. Yeaton, beloved mother and wife passed away surrounded by her family after a long illness July 28, 2010 at the age of 74.
She worked for several years at Etonic Shoe, 11 years she and husband Francis owned and operated Richmond Dairy Bar and Shirley really enjoyed being a substitute teacher for Richmond Head Start. Shirley also loved her cats and dogs and particularly family gatherings being one of her greatest joys.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Francis Yeaton of Richmond, brothers Larry Young and wife Rita of Litchfield, Jack Young and wife Delores, and Gary Young both if Richmond, sister Laverne and her husband Roy, sister in-law Martha Young all from Richmond, daughters Vicki of Vassalboro, Karen and husband Richard Taylor Jr. of Litchfield, son Gregory and wife Jeanne of Richmond, grandchildren Angela, Amy, Ronald, Travis, Jesse, Katie-Lynn, Eric, Michael, Pam, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was predeceased by her father Vernon Young, mother Dorothy Skelton Young, brother Kenneth Young Sr., and sister Dorothy Watson.
Family and friends are invited to memorial visitation from 12 to 1pm on Monday, August 2nd with a funeral service starting promptly at 1pm all at Kincer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond.
