Beverly "Nana" R. Lamoreau

Richmond-Beverly R. Lamoreau, 78, of the Carding Machine Rd. Bowdoinham died after a long illness on June 3, 2010 at her daughter’s home.

She was born in Gardiner on May 7, 1932 the daughter of Roy and Ada (Sanborn) Rankins.

Beverly worked for many years in the local shoe shops as well as a C.N.A. at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick.

Beverly was a lifetime member of the Electa Chapter of the Eastern Star in Bowdoinham, Bowdoinham Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the Post 132 Women's Auxiliary in Richmond. She enjoyed playing Bingo, being on her computer and particularly time spent with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parent’s, husband Robert Lamoreau, brother Raymond Rankins, Clifford Rankins, sister Geraldine Tisdale and grandson Daniel Lamoreau.

Bev is survived by her daughter Wanda French and her husband Mike of Richmond, son's Donald Lamoreau and his wife Roberta of Bowdoinham, Mac Lamoreau and his significant other Alyce Graceson of Richmond, Stephen Lamoreau and his wife Jeannene of Bowdoinham, Terry Lamoreau and his wife Cyndi of Bowdoinham, 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 8th from 4 to 7pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 9th at 11am with a burial to follow in the Ridge Cemetery, Bowdoinham. A gathering will follow at 228 Carding Machine Rd. Bowdoinham.

The family would like to thank Shawn and Christine Lamoreau and their girls for all the wonderful loving care given to Bev over the last 10 years.

In Bev's memory donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
