William Andersen
Woolwich-William V. Andersen, 64, of Woolwich, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at his home with family and his beloved dog Missy by his side.
"Bill" was born December 15, 1944 in Livermore Falls, Maine the son of Frederick and Eleanor (Morris) Andersen. He married the love of his life Beverly A. Baker on January 12, 1963.
Bill enjoyed hunting, gardening, antique automobiles, and traveling with his wife Beverly to Foxwoods and Bangor. He enjoyed the holidays and putting up beautiful lights at Christmas. He especially enjoyed the visits from his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Bill also had a lot of fun and laughter with his close nephew John Neff Jr. Bill owned and operated several businesses in the area, and in 1996 opened Rocky Ridge Redemption with his wife Beverly. He was a member of the American Legion and Bath Elks.
Bill was predeceased by his father Frederick Andersen, mother Eleanor (Morris) Andersen, sisters Barbara Barker and Betty Stevenson.
He is survived by his wife Beverly of Woolwich, daughter's Tammy Andersen of Brunswick, Lisa Green of Bath, Lynn Andersen, of Callahan, Florida, grandchildren; Ashley Bonang, Casandra Green, Danielle Green, Markie Green, Matt Mansir, Brandy Cunliffe, and Tyler Cunliffe, Great-grandchildren Gavin Bonang and Lucas Bonang, brother Robert Andersen and wife Sharon of Lawton, Oklahoma, Sisters Beverly Delano and husband Carl of Sanford, Beatrice Neff and fiancé William Dodge of Brunswick, an uncle Bill and aunt Alberta Morris of Turner, several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Woolwich at 2pm Saturday, November 14th.
