Augusta-Ernestine E. Henry, 84, died on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Maine Veterans Home, Augusta.

She was born on June 21, 1925 in East Millinocket the daughter of Neal and Addie (Gerard) Michaud. She attended schools in Fort Kent and later married Jack Henry.

Erni worked for the State of Maine for over 20 years.

Erni was a past member of the American Legion Womens Auxiliary post 132 Richmond. She also was a volunteer at Togus for many years and a ceramics teacher at her ceramic in Gardiner.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, sisters Laurette Guy, Bertha Chudzik, Rita Colfer, Claudette Michaud, and brothers Richard, Robert, Eugene and Gerard Michaud. Erni is survived by sisters Fedora Morrissey, Hilda Lee and Claire MacDonald of Maine, Catherine Gonyea of Connecticut, Beatrice Holman of Florida, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 20th at 11am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Richmond, a gathering will follow the Mass in the church hall. Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 21st at 10am at the Fr. Leclaire Maine Veterans Cemetery Augusta.
