Norman A. Noble
Bowdoin-Norman A. Noble, 76, of Post Road, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2008 at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston.
He was born on September 8, 1931 in Blaine, Maine the son of David and Lillian Noble.
Norman proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years, retiring in 1972 as a Master Sergeant. After retirement he worked in Civil Service for Brunswick Naval Air Station, retiring in 1992. Norman then spent his days working and sharing his love of farming with his family and friends.
Norman was predeceased by his parents, sister Betty Dore, brothers Oland and Irvin Noble. He is survived by his beloved wife Dee Noble of Bowdoin, his son Norman Noble Jr. and his wife Karen of Falmouth, daughters Nanci Temple and her husband Fred of Bowdoinham, Lisa Bean and her husband Michael of Leeds, Ingrid Nerney and her fiancée’ Keith Davis of Sabattus, granddaughters Erin Temple, Brenna Temple, Heather Deane, Cassie Benedict, Danielle Lore, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was Grandpa-the Great to great grandsons Aiden Temple and Zarin Deane.
Family and friends may visit at Kincer Funeral Home on Friday May 16th, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 17th at 11am at Kincer Funeral Home. Burial will take place on Monday May 19th at 9am at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery, Augusta.
