Manchester, NH- Elmer Gilpatrick, passed away Christmas morning December 25, 2007 of a heart condition.

He was born in Houlton, Maine to Verner and Viola Gilpatrick. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Willadean Dew. He was married to Anne Gellert Gilpatrick who also predeceased him.

Elmer graduated from Bangor High School, attended Duke University, and served in the Army as an officer during the Korean conflict. He was a sales rep for Bostitch Staples and part time author writing short stories; some of which where published.

He is survived by a daughter Mrs. Traci Swift, step son Dan Lubell of Iowa and brother Waldo Gilpatrick of West Gardiner, Maine.
