Wiscasset-Samuel W. Sproul, 70, of the Lowelltown Rd, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at a local Brunswick hospital.

He was born in Wiscasset on October 22, 1937 the son of Carrol and Elisabeth (Sewall) Sproul and lived in Wiscasset his entire life.

Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing, horse pulling, stock car racing, sports, the outdoors and the Red Sox.

He worked in the logging industry his entire life.

Sam was predeceased by his wife Marjorie Sproul, a brother George Sproul and step sister Dorothy Townsend.

He is survived by his son’s Perry, Gerald, Ken, Kevin Sproul, daughter’s Theresa Mullins, Cheryl Thayer, Donna Applebee, Pam Lear, brother Jimmy Sproul, sister Katherine Connors, 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Per Sam’s request there will not be any services held at this time.
