Richard “Dick” A. Coulombe
Richmond-Richard A. Coulombe, 80, of the Alexander-Reed Rd. passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta.
He was born in Augusta on August 22, 1927 the son of Theodore and Alice (Ouellette) Coulombe.
Dick proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He also worked at Etonic Shoe in Richmond for many years.
Dick was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles past president, the Elks Lodge in Augusta, and the Gardiner American Legion.
He is survived by his beloved wife Gloria (Moeller) Coulombe of Richmond, daughters Terry Thomas of Florida, Cindy Moeller of Florida, sons Gary Moeller of Richmond, Allan Moeller and wife Cindy of Dresden, Charles Coulombe of Texas, brother Donald Coulombe, sisters Joan Gray, Muriel Cloutier, Lillian Bechard, and Pauline Beaulieu all of Augusta, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, November 15th from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 7pm with a service commencing at 7pm, all at Kincer Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Frey officiating. Burial will take place at the Old Maine Veterans Cemetery Civic Center Dr. Augusta on Friday, November 16th at 10am with full military honors.
