Lucille A. Bates
Farmington-Lucille A. Bates. 79, of Vacation Estates Lane, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 6, 2007.
She was born on August 27, 1928 the daughter of Hector and Ida (LaGasse) Lamothe.
Lucille enjoyed cryptograms, crocheting, knitting and particularly spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard Bates Jr., sisters Jeanette Taylor, Rita Creedon, son William Lamothe. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Abbott and her partner Mike of Washington State, Diane Bates of Farmington, Mary Bates of Tennessee, Linda Bates of Bangor, sons Brian Bates of Farmington, Richard Bates and his wife Vicki of Tennessee, Bernard Bates III of Farmington, Mark Bates and his wife Paula of Livermore, sister Irene Taylor of Connecticut, Norman Lamothe of Connecticut, Harry Lamothe of California, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 9th from 11 to 1pm at the United Methodist Church Route 2 Farmington with a service to follow at 1pm.
