Dresden-Paul Don, 84, of Patterson Road, died in the early morning of August 9th 2007 at Amenity Manor in Topsham.

He was born in Poland in 1923. His birth name was Pavel Vasily Drinenko.

Upon gaining US Citizenship in 1963 he changed his last name to Don to reflect his heritage as a Don Cossack.

He worked numerous jobs and retired with 25 years service from Bath Iron Works.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Zena of Dresden, daughter Tamara of Topsham and son Michael of Massachusetts. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He joins his parents Vasily and Tekla Drinenko in eternal rest.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 18th from 12 noon to 1pm with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. Burial will take place in Richmond Cemetery.
