Litchfield-Mark A. Lane, 34, of Lewiston Rd. passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 06, 2007 at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston.

He was born on October 16, 1972 in Augusta the son of Richard and Sandra (Ross) Lane and graduated from Oak Hill High School.

Mark worked for Adelphia, was self-employed, pizza business, and most recently Windows Rep of Maine. He enjoyed helping others, fishing and particularly spending time with his family.

In 2005 he received a Maine Chief of Police Association Act of Bravery Award by a Citizen.

Mark was predeceased by his mother Sandra Lane, grandparents Raymond and Grace Lane, Olie and Laura Ross. He is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years Rose Ann Lane of Litchfield, daughters Marissa and Jessica Lane of Litchfield, Father Richard Lane and his wife Gail, brothers Richard and Carlee Lane of Washington State, Douglas and Deborah Lane of Arizona, Jared and Jennifer Lane of Lewiston, sisters Angela and Ed Oakes of Windham, Betsy and Christopher Chase of Litchfield, many nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to a closed casket visitation on Tuesday, May 8th from 6 to 8pm at Kincer Funeral Home. A graveside service will to take place on Wednesday, May 9th at 3:30pm at Litchfield Plains Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to defray funeral costs.
