Charles P. Lamoreau

Pittston-Charles P. Lamoreau, 82, of the Old Cedar Grove Rd. passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Graybirch Nursing Home, Augusta.

He was born in Hartland on April 16, 1924 the son of Gordon and Frances (Rideout) Lamoreau.

Charlie and his wife Velva worked together for over 25 years in there boarding home. He enjoyed farming, hunting and raising his children. He was also a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Farmingdale.

Charlie was predeceased by his parents, brothers Robert and Malcolm Lamoreau, sisters Lucy and Edna Lamoreau. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Velva Lamoreau of Pittston, sons Charles Lamoreau Jr. and his wife Barbara of Winthrop, John Lamoreau and his wife Diane of Monmouth, Robert Lamoreau and his wife Marlene of Pittston, Paul Lamoreau and his wife Karen of W. Gardiner, daughters Sharon Falvo of California, Ellen Novy and her husband Cedric of W. Gardiner, Betty Tibbetts and her husband Larry of Cooper, Brenda Degen and her husband Barnett Sr. of Gardiner, brothers Henry Lamoreau of Bowdoinham, Herman Lamoreau of Hudson, sisters Marion Nesland of Washington State, Lois Tapley of Connecticut, Margaret Nevells of Ellsworth, Elizabeth Lamoreau of Richmond, 33 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, February 17th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at Kincer Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, February 18th at 11am also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the spring.
