James D. Nason

Richmond-James D. Nason, 82, of the Alexander Reed Rd. Passed away on November 23, 2006 at Amenity Manor in Topsham.

He was born in Canaan on May 28, 1924 the son of Grover and Etta (Bragg) Nason.

Jim proudly served his country on the Army Air Corp. During WWII.

He worked for himself for over 50 years as an automobile mechanic and body shop repairman.

Jim enjoyed working with his hands and on cars. He especially enjoyed time spent with family.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, sister’s Gwen Costella, Mary Laprise, brother’s Clayton and Chester Nason. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Marjorie Nason of Richmond, son Gary Nason and his wife Carolyn of Richmond, sister Eileen Booker of Clinton, grandchildren Katherine Girma, Penny Simpson, great grandchildren Adam, Leah, Jenna and several nieces.

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, December 17th at 1pm at Kincer Funeral Home with Pastor Farley officiating and military honors. Burial will take place in Maine Veterans Cemetery.
