Joseph M. Huston
Richmond-Joseph M. Huston, 69, of the Alexander Reed Rd. passed away Oct. 26, 2006 after a short illness with his wife by his side.
He was born on March 3, 1937 in Portland the son of John and Annie (Merrill) Huston.
Joe enjoyed fishing, tinkering on his car, particularly listening to music by Slim Clark.
He was a farmer most of his life, working for Green Point Farms in Dresden, Chicks Orchard in Monmouth, Popp’s Farm in Dresden and the Thomas farm in Richmond.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, sister Lucille Stone, Ella Hooper, Lynn Jones, Eva Pratt, Amy Huston, brother Robert Huston.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years Elizabeth Huston of Richmond, daughter Marsha Pratt and her husband Michael of Hallowell, son’s David Smith of Lewiston, Dean Smith and wife Trish of Virginia, Francis “Frank” Huston and companion Penny Pelletier of Richmond, Joseph Huston Jr., of Richmond, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 4 to 7pm at Kincer Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Sunday at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond.
