M. Geraldine “Gerry” Waltz
Richmond-Geraldine “Gerry” Waltz, 86, of Pleasant St. passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Richmond Elder Care with her beloved husband by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on February 2, 1919 the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (McDonald) Lizotte and attended local Lewiston Schools.
Gerry worked for the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Togus for many years as an administrative assistant.
She enjoyed camping with family, knitting and being with her grandchildren. Gerry was also a longtime member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Richmond.
Gerry was also predeceased by her daughter Madeleine Ann Huff, brother Harry Lizotte Jr., and a nephew Richard Lizotte. She is survived by her husband and best friend Donald Waltz of Richmond, son Donald Jr. and wife Michelle of Berwick, grandsons Scott Huff of Rochester New Hampshire, Michael Waltz of Richmond, Jonathan Waltz of Berwick, granddaughter Donna Waltz of Berwick, twin sister Madeleine Lizotte of Richmond, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, February 2nd from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Kincer Funeral Home with prayers of the departed being offered at 7pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 3rd at 11am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Kimball in Richmond with a gathering to follow in the church function room. Burial will take place in the spring.
